Payments & Refunds

1. About Exchange Payments

The StudioHub Collective Exchange is a marketplace where registered sellers (Tenants) list new & ex-display staging inventory for sale to buyers. StudioHub Collective facilitates the platform and payment processing, but is not the seller of products.

Important: When you purchase on the Exchange, you are buying directly from the seller (Tenant). The seller is responsible for product descriptions, stock accuracy, fulfilment, and customer service.

2. Payment Methods

Exchange purchases may be paid for using:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Processed securely by Stripe. StudioHub Collective does not store full card details.
  • Manual Invoice: Some sellers may offer invoice payment options with bank transfer.

Payment methods available depend on the seller's configuration. All card payments are processed securely through Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy.

3. Pricing and Availability

Prices on the Exchange are set by individual sellers. Prices displayed are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise indicated. Product availability is managed by sellers and may change without notice.

4. Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email. This confirmation acknowledges your order but does not guarantee availability. The seller will contact you to arrange collection or delivery and confirm the order.

5. Collection and Delivery

Exchange items are typically available for collection from the seller's location. Delivery arrangements, if offered, are made directly with the seller. Any delivery fees or arrangements are between you and the seller.

6. Refunds and Returns

Exchange items are new or ex-display. Refund and return policies are set by individual sellers and should be discussed with the seller before purchase.

General guidelines:

  • Contact the seller directly for any issues with your order.
  • Items must typically be collected in the condition described.
  • Refunds, if offered, are processed by the seller through the original payment method.
  • Disputes should be raised with the seller in the first instance.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable New Zealand consumer protection laws.

7. Payment Security

Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. StudioHub Collective does not store, process, or have access to your full credit card details. All payment information is encrypted and handled in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

8. Disputes

If you have a dispute regarding a purchase, please contact the seller directly in the first instance. If you cannot resolve the issue with the seller, you may contact StudioHub Collective for assistance, though resolution of commercial disputes remains primarily between buyer and seller.

9. Contact

If you have questions about payments or refunds, please contact the relevant seller or reach StudioHub Collective at info@studiohub.co.nz.
